Do Women Overeat During Pregnancy?

The assumption that women overeat during pregnancy is based on the fact that many women experience unnatural weight gain during pregnancy, and this is a terrible wrong assumption.

There is no one reliable study that supports the belief that women overeat during pregnancy.

Weight gain during pregnancy is misunderstood by medical and nutritional scientists, and it is irresponsible from them to spread the belief that women overeat during pregnancy.

1. There are reliable studies that show that excessive weight gain during pregnancy can harm the unborn child.

2. There is no one reliable study that shows that excessive weight gain during pregnancy is caused by overeating.

3. There is no one study that shows that women overeat during pregnancy.

It is urgent to discuss why in recent times so many pregnant women experience unnatural weight gain, but the pre-existing belief is a big obstacle to any rational discussion.
